Tap Room Hours – Thurs-Sat 3pm-7pm (Tim Rockey Brewer/Owner)

I got to spend an afternoon with Tim out at the brewery last week and what a great time. Tim is a pleasure to talk to and with just a short time in the brewing biz, he’s a great new brewing mind.  The two barrel system was hand-built from the ground up by Tim and his friends.  A neat system and the libations coming off were super tasty.  Tim admits he has lots to learn but he says, “it’s not rocket science, it’s beer.”  When you arrive in Graham to the garage/brewery/taproom, you need to get buzzed in though the gates. Check the horizon on a clear day you have a perfect shot of Mt Rainer.  That makes for awesome viewing as you’re drinking tasty brews.  Right from the start I was offered beer.  First up was the Dark Marc which is named after a great beer writer who has been helping Tim refine recipes and brewing processes.  This is a CDA with great malt and hops flavors. This was my favorite but I also got to try the following:

Golden Ale – Like a strong hop tea, tasty and light with a good amount of hops in the flavor and finish.
No Brainer Ale – Pale ale – Nice malt and hops balance.
Twisted Head IPA – Amber ale malt flavors hops are light this needs IPA help.
Bonehead Brown Ale – This is in honor of the house Dog – A Bouvier. Good malt and balance hops flavor.
Dark Marc – CDA with dark malts, hops this was the tasty treat for the day.

So if you find yourself going out to NW Trek or Mt Rainer for the day, stop on by M.T. Head for a few samples. Buy a Growler or other M.T. Head swag to remember the great day out.   I can say this M.T. Head – Fills the Void.
