Got the awesome opportunity to attend the Gala Dinner for the World Beer Cup last night and to see and hear the winners being announced was off the hook. Congratulations to one and all. I was super proud to see the Pacific Northwest walk away with a bunch of medals and my local taking one. Fish Brewing Company Bronze for the Leavenworth Boulder Bend Dunkelweizen. I also want to shout out to a few I am super proud of – Black Raven, Sound Brewing, Pike Brewing Silver City Brewing, Chuckanut Brewing, Upright Brewing and Columbia River Brewing. With one huge shout out going out to Darron Welch from Pelican Brewing and his team as they took two gold’s and also walked away with large brewpub of the year award. I know I missed a few please forgive me I am running on little sleep. I can’t wait for years Craft Brewers Conference 2013 in Washington DC.
