A few years back I had the distinct pleasure of working the Washington Brewers Festival. Well if you know me I am not quiet. I always want to promote from the mountain tops the elixir we love so much the Barley Pops I am always searching for. Plus at the festival after so many hours on your feet and pouring for so long you actually lose your shit. Well our neighbors at the festival happen to be the awesome kids from North Jetty Brewing. Rookies then, now great friends and brewers of terrific beer.  So this week on Free Beer Sunday it’s with out a doubt an honor to yell one more time “North Jetty Brewing!

About –
North Jetty Brewing is family owned and operated by Erik and Michelle Svendsen on the beautiful Long Beach Peninsula. While they have been brewing commercially since 2012, the tap room has been open since April 2014. The taproom is a gathering place for locals and tourists alike and hosts a number of community events, trivia, and fundraisers.

We production brew on a 10 barrel brew house and we let our creativity flow on a 5 barrel brew house.

We have 18 taps, featuring 16 of our own beers. We rotate a couple different Washington Ciders and a guest tap or two.

Featured Beer from North Jetty Brewing

Cape D. IPA

Cape D was our first IPA and still a favorite among many. It can be described as a straightforward West Coast IPA that has the ability to please hop heads and those looking for a balanced, lighter IPA. On the nose are notes of grapefruit and citrus coming from a generous double dry hop, while the malt body creates the canvas for the hops to play. The name is our homage to Cape Disappointment just up the road from the brewery.  ABV 6.9  IBU 58
