FREE BEER Sunday – Fish Brewing Company
Olympias Oldest Craft Brewery

From its home in beautiful Olympia, Washington, Fish Brewing Company has been hand-crafting ales of Northwest proportions since 1993. Founded by Crayne and Mary Horton and a few dozen local investors, Fish began operations humbly. With a 15-barrel brew house, and two 15-barrel fermenters, we brewed for our neighbors up and down Puget Sound. Growing steadily since, Fish is now an award-winning craft brewer with distribution throughout the great Pacific Northwest and beyond.

Today, three distinct brands make their home under Fish Brewing Company’s roof: Fish Tale Ales, Spire Mountain Cider and Leavenworth Biers.

In the beginning there were Fish Tale Ales, northwest-style beers born in our brewpub on Jefferson Street. It wasn’t long before our brewery outgrew its cradle, though. So in 1996, we moved brewing operations across Jefferson Street and into the historic Skoog Building.

Fish Takes 1st in the world (2015)

It is a known fact that many Pacific Northwesterners believe that they can bring spring early by dressing for summer on any day that is above seasonal temperatures. Beyond the Pale Ale is our tribute to them.

Pushing us to brighter, more flavorful places, this is our unique interpretation of this classic and popular style. This medium-bodied pale ale presents a rich and complex malt character derived from a bold blend of four different types of grain wonderfully balanced by five comple-mentary varieties of hops.
