Sunrise Oatmeal Pale Ale in Cans! From Fort George Brewing – We’ve just received our latest and brightest batch of cans, and we’re elated to start canning Sunrise Oatmeal Pale Ale this month. The February release is timed so that you can have a can in your hands this spring. The beer has gone from the canning line to the retail cooler in our pub, to local stores, and onto the rest of Oregon and Southwest Washington. Some other big news, we’re planning to enter the Seattle market in March.
The can is orange and yellow, with a mandala designed around the molecular makeup of an oat kernel. Sunrise Oatmeal Pale Ale is light, refreshing, and it’s easy to drink a few of them due to the fairly mellow alcohol content, 5.2%. It has a lot of hop flavor, and the oatmeal gives it a subtle creaminess, and dryness. It’s a great beer to drink outside on a sunny spring day.

An employee favorite, we’ve found Sunrise Oatmeal Pale Ale, or “OPA,” as it’s affectionately referred to, is the beer the majority of Fort George workers tend to order for their shift beer after work.
