Flying Bike Cooperative Brewery Surpasses 500 members
Seattle, WA, May 9, 2012 – Flying Bike Cooperative Brewery announced that it has surpassed 500 members. “The 500th member signed up on May 2nd. 13 months after the Coop went ‘live’ and began taking memberships.” said Tim Dery, President of the Board of Directors of Flying Bike.
“So much has happened in the past 12+ months including a successful member homebrew competition; that beer was collaboratively brewed locally and served on tap around Seattle. We’ve been featured in lots of local news, we’ve been to 3 area beer festivals, met tons of great people and spent countless hours working towards the dream of a cooperative brewery.” said Dery. “Now we are over 500 members strong”
The Coop is also a sponsor of Seattle Beer Week and the Tour de Pints event and will have their second brewing competition completed in June.
