From Airways Brewing – 
In April, we invited the ladies in the craft brewing industry to help us come up with and brew a recipe for the 3rd in our series of collaboration beers. First, the group was given a chance to vote on the characteristics of the beer. Then Janelle Pritchard and our head brewer, Alex Dittmar, came up with the recipe, which turned out to be an earthy red ale.
On the 25th, Alex (not actually one of the Beer Broads, but the only one tall enough to reach in the kettle), Janelle, Linda from Pike Brewing, Kim from Washington Beer Blog, Patti from Diamond Knot, and Dione and Debbie from Airways got together at Two Beers in SODO and made the beer.
You’ll be able to check out the new beer at both Airways locations on Thursday, May 10th.
The Beer Broads Red Ale will also be ready just in time to send to the Northwest Women in Beer event at Pike Brewing Company on May 15th during Seattle Beer Week.
I can’t wait to try this brew out and support.
