Black Star Beer Launches Draught
West Coast Bars Now Serving Black Star on Tap

WHITEFISH, MT – Black Star (http://www.blackstarbeer.com), the golden lager from the Great Northern Brewing Company in Whitefish, Montana is now distributing kegs outside of its home state. Black Star is now available on tap at select bars in San Francisco, Seattle and Boise.

“We’re thrilled to have bars on the West Coast now pouring Black Star on tap just in time for summer”, said Minott Wessinger, founder of Black Star and the Great Northern Brewery. “While I love Black Star in cans and bottles, there is nothing quite like enjoying an ice cold pint pulled straight from the tap.”

Kicking off its draught launch, Black Star is utilizing its vintage 1965 Airstream to spread the good news to beer lovers from Los Angeles to Seattle. “We installed a digital photo booth in the back of the Airstream so when we are at promotions, events and festivals, people can hop in and snap a few photos with friends before grabbing a Black Star.” The Airstream is WiFi enabled so photos are immediately emailed to the consumer and uploaded to Facebook.

“We loved the concept of taking two classic pieces, an Airstream and a photo booth, and revolutionizing both with social media,” said Ashley Garver, head of Marketing. “It has been an incredibly fun opportunity to connect with beer fans and a great way to bring them into the Black Star experience both in person and on social.”
