Holy cow are you kidding me? The first beer week of the year is here and it’s in Anchorage Alaska. Yep starting tomorrow Alaska Beer Week 2012. Sitting on 5 feet of snow all through out the city this does not slow anything down. Tons of great events this is going to make one happy BrewDad as I am headed up next week. Happy New Year! And to kick-start 2012 with great beer, check out all of the events during AK Beer Week, a 10-day celebration of CRAFT BEER in Alaska. Of course, the anchor event is the Great Beer & Barley Wine Festival in Anchorage, held on the third weekend every January at theEganCenter. There are three sessions–FRI JAN 206-9 PM,SAT JAN 212-5 PM(Connoisseurs Session) andSATJAN 216-9 PM.
