Airways Brewing – Final Departure Imperial Stout
It’s that time of year! Final Departure, our annual end-of-the-year Imperial Stout, is on draught at both of locations starting today. 22-oz bottles will be released next week.
This year’s beer is a collaboration between Eureka U Village and Dry Fly Distilling. We aged a portion of the beer in Dry Fly Triticale Whiskey barrels for eight months, then blended the beer from the barrels into a fresh batch of the base beer. The flavors from the barrel come through nicely, along with notes of roast and chocolate and coffee.
