It’s time to grab a pint and wet your palate. As of today, 10 Barrel Brewing Co.’s Big Daddy Fresh is available on draught throughout Oregon, California, Colorado, Idaho and Washington. This fresh hop pale ale is one of 10 Barrel’s harvest releases and will not last long.
Jimmy Seifrit, 10 Barrel’s brewmaster (aka “The Boss”), and brewer Ben Shirley drove from Bend to Southern Oregon at 3AM to pick up 600 pounds of fresh Centennial Hops, from Umpqua Hop Farms.
They then raced back to Bend and got their harvest into the hop back within a handful of hours of being cut. As if that wasn’t enough, the guys then froze some of the hops with liquid nitrogen, crushed them, and added them to the tanks, taking the dry hop flavors to a whole new level.
Point being, Big Daddy Fresh is a fall brew you don’t want to miss.
