Washington Hop Mob Triple IPA Roadshow
The official Washington Hop Mob Kickoff at Brouwer’s Cafe is scheduled for Thursday, February 4, 2016. Dozens of Washington-brewed Triple IPAs on tap. Other events follow for the next 10 days.
The list of participating breweries is taking shape. So are the beer descriptions.
Hop Mob Quick ‘n Dirty
- The term Hop Mob refers to a robust collection of Triple IPAs. These super-hoppy beers typically weigh in at more than 10 percent Alcohol By Volume. This year, more than three dozen Washington breweries are creating triple IPA and releasing them at the same time.
- The term Roadshow refers to the fact that this is not just one event, but a series of events around the Puget Sound Region spread out over the course of 10 days (starting on February 4, 2016).
- The term Washington refers to the fact that all of the Hop Mob beers are brewed by Washington breweries.
The Hop Mob Kickoff features the largest collection of Hop Mob beers brewed by theparticipating breweries. Expect to see dozens of the world’s hoppiest creations on tap at the Hop Mob Kickoff. Each of the Hop Mob Roadshow events feature at least eight Hop Mob beers.
