Upright and The Commons Swap Beers
Friday December 12th from 6 – 9 pm join us at Saraveza for a very neat tap takeover including the Commons. The event revolves around a recipe swap in which we brewed their flagship Urban Farmhouse Ale (in one of our open fermenters) and they brewed our Four (in one of their closed tanks). The “original” beers will be on as well to do side by side tastings which may shed some light on how fermenter geometry influences finished beers. Saraveza will also be pouring both our pilseners and other beers too!
Fantasia Release
January 2nd the brewery is releasing the fourth batch of Fantasia, our annual barrel fermented sour peach beer. This batch blends two vintages made with fruit from both the 2012 and 2013 harvests, courtesy of Baird Family Orchards like always. Because the batch is slightly larger than previous ones and a three bottle per person limit, we feel confident that the beer will not sell out right away and encourage people not to feel pressed in coming the specific release day as it will likely be on tap and available in bottles the entire weekend.
