Bayou Beer Fest1Press Release: Houma, La. – The Bayou Beer Fest today announced an exciting lineup of top southern craft breweries that will be featured at the 3rd Annual Bayou Beer Festival. The event is scheduled for Saturday, November 14 in Houma, noon until 5 and is expected to draw more than 2,000 craft beer lovers from across the south.

  • Abita Brewing Company, Abita Springs, Louisiana
  • Chafunkta Brewing Company, Mandeville, Louisiana
  • 40 Arpent Brewing Company, Arabi, Louisiana
  • Bayou Teche Brewing, Arnaudville Louisiana
  • Covington Brewhouse, Covington, Louisiana
  • Gnarly Barley, Hammond, Louisiana
  • NOLA Brewing Company, New Orleans, Louisiana
  • Second Line Brewing, New Orleans, Louisiana
  • Old Rail Brewing, Mandeville, Louisiana
  • Tin Roof Brewing Company, Baton Rouge, Louisiana
  • Great Raft Brewing, Shreveport, Louisiana
  • Red River Brewing, Shreveport, Louisiana
  • Yalobusha Brewing, Water Valley, Mississippi
  • Crooked Letter Brewing Company, Ocean Springs, Mississippi, and
  • Lazy Magnolia Brewery, Kiln, Mississippi

According to Joel Ohmer, Bayou Beer Society President, “The 3rd Annual Bayou Beer Fest has fast become one of the top craft beer events in the south and with so many great breweries attending, it’s easy to see why. Many of the breweries will be serving specialty beers crafted exclusively for the 2015 Bayou Beer Fest that are only be available at the event.  Whether you love craft beers or whether you just want to enjoy a perfect day at historic Southdown Plantation in Houma, the 2015 Bayou Beer Festival is going to be the place to be on Saturday, November 14.  Later updates will be announced online at bayoubeerfest.com or on Facebook.”

About the Bayou Beer Festival
The Bayou Beer Fest is an annual event hosted by The Bayou Beer Society, a not-for-profit community educational organization devoted to the sharing the enjoyment of craft beers within South Louisiana.   In 2014, the Bayou Beer Festival welcomed more than 2,000 attendees with record crowds expected again this year.  Proceeds of the event are given to veteran organizations with more than $15,000 donated to date.
