Tacoma Beer Week IPA Challange at the Parkway Tavern Aug 7
We’ve invited six local Tacoma breweries to compete for the illustrious Parkway Cup. You, the people, will decide the champion via blind tasting. Will Tacoma Brewing retain its title? Flights and voting from from 5:30 to 8:00. Champion announced at 9:00.
Tacoma Beer Week Belching Beaver Night at the North End Social Club Aug 7
Belching Beaver will be joining us for Tacoma Beer Week!! Thing something sour, something dark and a few something IPA!!! Come early for some great beer and stay for Open Mic hosted by Kim Archer!
Tacoma Beer Week Swig and Swag by Odd Otter and Narrows brewing at Narrows Brewing Aug 8
This year for our Tacoma Beer Week Event at Narrows we are doing a couple of new and special things. First, we are releasing the Hard Copy IPA, a collaboration with Grit City Magazine. Grit City will be releasing their first hard copy mag and it promises to be fun and informative. Second, we are holding our first annual Swig and Swag, a beer swag silent auction. Swag was generously donated by your local breweries, taprooms, and bottle shops. All money raised at the auction will be donated to the South Sound Care Foundation for Cancer Research. We hope to see you here! 4-8pm
Tacoma Beer Week Domino’s Tournament with Ecliptic Brewing Aug 8
Support Tacoma Beer Week at Broken Spoke Tacoma! How does throwin’ bones and listening to 90’s west coast rap sound? Come join us for our first Dominos Tournament while sipping on Ecliptic Brewing Carina Peach Sour. Prizes from Ecliptic to keep you motivated!
Tacoma Beer Week Aug 9
During last year’s Tacoma Beer Week, Director Mike Bosold staged The Hopnificent Seven, a remake of the classic 1960 Western with an all-star cast of brewery sales executives, a wide-ranging arsenal of hops and some funny lines at Peaks and Pints bottle shop, taproom and restaurant in the Proctor District. Bosold is back with Tacoma Beer Week 2018: The Hopnificent Seven starring some new faces, a wide-ranging arsenal of hops and some funny lines.
Peaks and Pints was allowed five minutes with Bosold during his pedicure to ask questions. Sure, we walked away a little scared but thrilled top hear sales executives from Breakside Brewery, Fort George Brewery, Pike Brewing Company, Ecliptic Brewing and Reuben’s Brews will be returning with two new faces: Matchless Brewing and 3Mag Pubhouse.

Alesmith Speedway Stout Night at the Copper Door 6-9pm
We are having a AleSmith Brewing Company Speedway Stout Night. We will have Mokasida, Kona, Vietnamese Coffee, Hammerhead, Nibs and Beans, Jamacia Blue, and Regular Speedway Stout.

3rd Annual South Tacoma Sour Tummy at Edison City Alehouse
Join us on August 11th for South Tacoma Sour Tummy, our marquee event for Tacoma Beer Week!
Sour Tummy is one of our favorite events of the year. Once again we will be bringing you 12+ taps of the finest barrel aged sour beer we can get out hands on.
This year we’ll be featuring sours from;
Holy Mountian, Urban Family, Cascade, Crooked Stave, VanderGhinste, Breakside, Block 15, Engine House 9 and more.
We’ll also have a food truck in the afternoon to help soak up all that sour goodness.
If you love sour beers or are just sour curious, this is one event you wont want to miss!
