Let’s celebrate Women in Brewing! We’ve got a brand new IPA to share, as well as a stellar lineup of female musicians from the area to provide tunes throughout the night!

The ladies of South Puget Sound Community College Brewing and Distilling have collaborated with local industry allies to brew South Sound Siren IPA. Allies include: Triceratops Brewing Company, Matchless Brewing, Georgetown Brewing, Headless Mumby Brewing Company and Skagit Valley Malting.

This beer was made for Pink Boots Society, a nonprofit organization that was created to assist, inspire and encourage women beer industry professionals to advance their careers through education. Eastside Club Tavern has agreed to donate the profits from the sales of South Sound Siren IPA to Pink Boots Society. These funds will go toward educational scholarships for women in brewing.

Skagit Valley Malting donated the malt for this beer which was brewed and dry-hopped with the PBS Blend from Yakima Chief Hops. This hop blend was crafted by Pink Boots Society members and includes Loral, Mosaic, Simcoe, Sabro and Glacier. What will this beer taste like!? Come join us and find out! 7 pm start with TBD musical acts beginning at 8 pm. You learn more at @spscc_craftbrewdistill on social media.
