Silver City Brewery announces the release of their new Seasonal Lager, Cold One Pilsner, and present the first view of the brewery’s new look.
Silver City is proud to introduce Cold One Pilsner as the next release in their Seasonal lager rotation. Cold One will make its way into Western Washington markets beginning in December. Cold One is an award winning recipe that Silver City has been perfecting for years. This will be the first time it has been released for distribution outside of limited draft and small, brewery-only bottlings. Brewmaster Don Spencer, renowned in the northwest for his lager offerings, had this to say about releasing the Cold One:
“This really is one of our pride & joys. There is so much precision, patience, & care that goes into brewing this beer. We are so excited to be releasing Cold One in this capacity for our fans to enjoy.”
Cold One will also be the first release of a fresh new look for Silver City. Partnering with Blindtiger Design of Seattle, Silver City has developed a new refreshed look for both the master brand logo and each supporting beers. The first glimpse behind the curtain will be offered with Cold One; all the supporting cast will roll out in early 2015. Silver City Brewery owner Scott Houmes commented, “We are really excited to show off the new look our friends at Blindtiger have helped us to arrive at. Having started out as solely a brewpub in 1996, our current designs almost reflect another generation.
“While we have great pride in that lineage and our history, we felt it was time to update our look,” Houmes added, “After a long in depth process we really feel the new look is befitting the quality, consistency & culture of Silver City Brewery.” Stay tuned for the all new look & new packages in 2015.
