I am not sure if this will ever happen but can you not stop at a Rogue while visiting Newport for the day? We made several stops for the key players in the family the wife and kid. Then it was my turn and time to stop at Rogue Brewer’s on the Bay. There is something magical about arriving at Rogue the World Headquarters. I need to sign up and become official with Rogue and become a citizen of the Rogue Nation. I do however wish on this day I had known this was going to be a special time I would have shaved or at least worn my lucky underwear. I got to meet whom a lot in the beer community feel is a craft beer legend – John Maier Master Rogue Brewer. He was there cleaning the brewery in his overalls and high boots and with
luck I was able to have a few minutes talking beer with him. He also signed a bottle for my collection. Now on to the beer, a pint of Glen was going to have to bring me down out of the clouds of giddiness after meeting such a legend. The “Glen” was brewed for there friend Glen Falconer whom passed a few years back this is a American Strong ale with tons of hops and flavor. Rogue you did not disappoint. It is as always fun to visit. See you all next time.
