Reubens Brews Roggenbier

Ballard, WA (April 2, 2013) – Until now, if you wanted to enjoy a Reuben’s Brews hand-crafted ale, you had to be either at the tasting room or at a great beer bar or restaurant in the Seattle region that had it on tap.

“We are excited to make our brews more accessible to craft beer lovers,” Adam Robbings, cofounder and Head Brewer said. “And just to be a little different, we decided to bottle three rye beers as our first offerings.”

Available in 22-ounce bottles, three World Beer Championship award-winning brews will initially be bottled: Reuben’s Roggenbier – a German Rye beer with notes of clove, banana and rye spice in the finish; Reuben’s American Rye – a crisp, light, thirst quenching rye brew; and Reuben’s Imperial Rye IPA – a citrus hop forward brew supported by smooth rye and caramel.

The first batch of bottles was ordered by Whole Foods Market and will be available in their Lynwood, Bellevue, Westlake, Roosevelt, Redmond and Interbay stores from April 3rd, with tasting events scheduled throughout the month. A few cases will also be available in Reuben’s taproom.

“We’re thrilled to launch with Whole Foods Market,” said Robbings. “And we can’t wait to bottle our second batch and bring our brews to craft beer lovers from Bellingham to Tacoma.”

After the second batch has been bottled in mid April, Reuben’s will also be in a number of additional specialty craft beer retailers. Watch Reuben’s blog on their website www.reubensbrews.com for details of the retailers who received deliveries nearer the date.
