Portland, OR – The 2nd annual Portland Farmhouse and Wild Ale Festival has finally completed the much awaited final beer list for the 2014 festival taking place this Saturday and Sunday March 29th and 30th.
The beer list at over fifty strong from twenty-eight breweries showcases a wide range of farmhouse ales from brewers both local and from across the country. One of the festivals many highlights is the release of the exclusive bottled beer available for sale to-go from The Ale Apothecary – “The Beer Formerly Known As La Tache” is a sour farmhouse ale fermented with white peaches in a single Dark Rum barrel.
With the two-day festival taking over the taps of both Saraveza, the Bad Habit Room and the side street on N. Michigan beers will rotate out giving good reason to attend both days to try as many beers as possible. Throughout the day expect special speakers from local breweries talking about their beers and the long history of farmhouse brewing.
