The Bergschrund is OPEN / Base Camp Closes its Doors!
The Bergschrund opened on December 19th! We hope you were able to stop in and check out the Bergschrund, the newest pub in Ballard serving almost exclusively our tasty brews! If you haven’t been able to, just head a block south from the brewery to the corner of 17th Ave NW and NW 49th St. It is the location of the old 2 Bit Saloon – just look for the Neon Horse on the corner of the building while the Bergschrund waits for its new signage. The Bergschrund will be hosting all of our events as well as being your go to spot for NW Peaks brews, growler fills and mountainBeers pickups. NW Peaks Brewery’s Base Camp closed on December 18th. This is a bittersweet note for Kevin and the clan at NW Peaks Brewery. We are sad to see the intimate setting close down but are 100 times more excited to have a better consumer experience at the Bergschrund (see above!), be able to expand the brewery, and to plan for a new and improved tap room for our patrons. The Bergschrund will now handle all retail operations for the brewery, including mountainBeer pickups. Stay tuned for updates to see how brewery progress comes along!
