Here’s a little brain teaser for you: a train leaves Seattle at 9:00 a.m. headed south and traveling at 65 MPH. Another train leaves Portland at 9:30 a.m. headed north and traveling at 60 MPH. Who gets to Centralia first? Our answer: who cares when there’s beer at the end of the line!
Silly math problems aside, we’re serious about making sure you’re on board for McMenamins 20th Annual Olympic Club Brewfest on Saturday, April 23. McMenamins has partnered with Amtrak Cascades to offer a 25% discount off regular full-priced adult fares, allowing craft beer fans to enjoy traveling to the only brew fest that’s been part of Centralia’s culture for two decades (while drinking beer and taking in the beautiful Pacific Northwest scenery!).
The festival will feature beers and cider from a variety of McMenamins’ Washington and Oregon breweries and guest breweries such as Fish Brewing, Elliott Bay Brewing, Fremont Brewing, Spire Mountain Cider and more. Bluegrass music from Left Coast Country and high energy pop from The June Bugs will keep toes tapping into the night.
