Hopvine PubFoggy Noggin BreweryFoggy Noggin Brewing decided to go local on this beer – Hopvine 20th Anniversary Pale – 5.7% ABV – 56 IBU.  We partnered with Skagit Vally Malting and used their locally grown and malted Copeland 2-Row Barley.  We complimented the malt bill with some British Crystal Malts and Oats.  100% Yakima grown hops – Columbus for Bittering and Bravo for flavor and aroma.  The result?  A well balanced pale with a nice bright malty backbone and a crisp hoppy freshness makes this beer pop. HopVine 20th Anniversary Pale gets tapped Thursday – Oct 1st at HopVine Pub.

One the HopVine Pub staff (Zach Mertens) is a homebrewer and good friend of Foggy Noggin Brewing.  We have teamed up for an earlier Pro-Am beer that was served at HopVine Pub.  We teamed up again to make another special beer for this historic occasion.  Four Beards Hoppy Red – 6.7% ABV – 67 IBU, pushes this red ale to the extreme and could be considered a Red IPA.  2-row barley, Munich Malt and British Crystal match a good malt backbone to harmonize with a Cascade and Amarillo hops.  Wow!  Four Beards Hoppy Red gets tapped Wednesday – Sept 30th at HopVine Pub.
