Fremont Studios turns swanky beverage lounge for 11th annual beer and Scotch festival
(Seattle, Wash.) — Hop Scotch Beer & Scotch Festival is the premier beer, Scotch, whiskey, and wine tasting experience benefiting Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF). On February 22 and 23, Fremont Studios transforms into a swanky beverage tasting lounge featuring over 80 libations to swirl, sniff and sip. New this year, whiskey-lovers can partake in a meet-the-makers Whiskey Lunch.
The unique festival allows guests to exchange lingo one-on-one with beverage experts as they discover their sense of taste and channel their inner Mad Men-inspired style during the two-day event.
There are four ways to play the game at Hop Scotch. By purchasing one of four admissions – Festival Admission, Hops & Spirits Admission, Hops Admission, and Spirits Admission – guests have the opportunity to craft a festival experience unique to their taste buds.
- Festival Admission – $20 in advance and at the door, includes entrance and tickets for complimentary non-alcoholic beverages at the Bottle Shop
- Hops & Spirits Admission – $45 in advance ($50 weekend of), includes 7 beer/wine tasting tokens and 1 self-guided spirit flight featuring 6 – ¼ oz tastes
- Spirits Only Admission – $45 in advance ($50 weekend of), includes both the Scotch and Northwest Whiskey self-guided flights featuring 6 – ¼ ounce tastes each
- Hops Only Admission – $30 in advance ($35 weekend of), includes 7 beer/wine tasting tokens
For those stoked on spirits, tickets are also available for the Whiskey Lunch on Saturday from 11:00am-2:00pm, featuring a guided Scotch sampling session with a Scotch expert and flights of Northwest whiskey. Whiskey Lunch ticket holders can also indulge in fabulous food from local Fremont eateries and a selection of beer and wine samples. A limited number of tickets are available for this exclusive experience.
