Hi-Fi Brewing – New Beer Release: Friday!
On the Metro, Vol. 1 is the first in a series of Berliner Weisse-style tart beers we plan to release. For this beer, we tweaked the usual Berliner Weisse format: we started with the traditional sour wheat beer, but then added blueberry puree during fermentation–over a pound per gallon! The beer pours a beautiful dark purple, and the flavor is blueberries and bread, with a touch of yogurt-like lactic acidity. Just the thing for spring. Or maybe for breakfast, come to think of it…Available in the taproom May 29th!
