Ecliptic Brewing Celebrates Zwickelmania Festivities
Feb. 14: John Harris’ Mississippi-Area Craft Brewery Hosts Tours, Sampling and Meet-The-Brewer Events
PORTLAND, Ore. Ecliptic Brewing, a craft brewery and restaurant in Portland’s Mississippi neighborhood, will on Feb. 14 from 11 a.m. through 4 p.m. host Zwickelmania events, complete with self-guided tours, beer sampling and meet-the-brewer festivities.
At Ecliptic’s Zwickelmania celebration, owner and head brewmaster John Harris will introduce his Orbiter IPA. Year-round and seasonal Ecliptic beers will also be available throughout the day, and the brewery will tap its barrel-aged Coalsack Cascadian Dark Ale and Capella Porter kegs at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. If guests are interested in trying these two beers, Harris recommends coming in early as when they’re gone, they’re gone. Chef Michael Molitor will be serving his regular seasonal food menu.
“Last year’s Zwickelmania celebration at Ecliptic was epic. In our first year as a brewery, we saw more than 1,000 people come through the door,” said John Harris. “We look forward to sharing this year’s festivities – including our new beers – with all of Ecliptic’s friends, both new and familiar.”
Ecliptic’s New Orbiter IPA: Ecliptic’s Orbiter IPA unites a constellation of “C” hops (Cascade, Centennial, Chinook and Columbus) to create a formidable India Pale Ale. Bright and citrusy hop flavors shine in a medium body with caramel malt character.
Ecliptic Brewing is located at 825 N Cook St, Portland, OR 97227.
