Dogfish Head – 120 Minute IPA hitting taps and shelves
The first 2015 batch of 120 Minute IPA is hitting taps and shelves in our markets this week.
Clocking in at 15-20% ABV and 120 IBUs, it’s easy to see why we call this beer The Holy Grail for Hopheads! 120 Minute IPA is boiled for a full two hours while being continuously hopped with high-alpha American hops, then dry-hopped daily in the fermenter for a month and aged for another month on whole-leaf hops.
We’re brewing two batches of 120 Minute IPA this year. (Don’t worry, y’all … these two batches will be the same volume as last year’s three batches!) It does go fast, though, so if you find some, grab a few bottles – some to enjoy fresh and some to age.
