9 years ago today we lost my Grandpa Charles he was 92 years young and awesome. A man who met the world and talked to everyone he met. (I wonder where I got it.) He met actors, actresses and even a president. He is one of the main reasons I am into the Beer/Bar scene as I am. The drink he talked to me about all the time that he loved to make for his customers was an Old Fashioned so in his honor every year I make one and raise the glass.
1.5oz Bourbon
1 Cherry
1 Sugar cube
1 Orange slice
2 dashes Bitters
Splash of water
Muddle Cherry, Sugar Cube, Bitters and Orange. Top with Ice add Bourbon and a dash or water.
