Taproom Grand Opening Features Three Breweries
PORTLAND – The Civic Taproom and Bottle Shop is holding its Grand Opening Celebration this Saturday, Dec. 20, from noon-midnight.
Local beer and cider breweries will be featured throughout the day. Mazama Brewing (12-3p), Reverend Nat’s Cider (3-6p), and Buoy Beer (6-9p) each will have several kegs on tap, brewers on hand to talk about their libations, and swag for customer giveaways. Neighbor Boise Fry Co. will provide fry samples.
Located adjacent to Providence Park at 621 SW 19th Ave, in Portland, Ore., The Civic is the first taproom to open on Portland’s west side since 2007. In fact, The Civic is the only bar that bills itself as a “taproom” in both the Nob Hill and Goose Hollow neighborhoods. Besides a few supermarkets, The Civic is also the only true bottle shop in the area.
