Ecliptic Brewing Hosts Beer Launch Party at White Owl Social Club on Friday, March 6
John Harris introduces Orbiter IPA and relaunches Spica Pilsner
PORTLAND, Ore. – Ecliptic Brewing, a craft brewery in Portland’s Mississippi neighborhood, will on Friday, March 6 from 5:00 p.m. through 8:00 p.m. host a new beer launch party at the White Owl Social Club. Ecliptic owner and head brewmaster John Harris will introduce his Orbiter IPA while relaunching the Spica Pilsner. The brewery’s Down Kriek Cosmic Storm and Phobos Single Hop Red Ale will also be available.
“White Owl Social Club has been an awesome partner in this launch party, and we can’t wait to have everyone join us in the celebration of the Ecliptic family of beers,” said Harris.
During the Ecliptic launch party, guests can sample and purchase the beers. Additionally, there will be space and beer-themed special menu items.

The Orbiter IPA unites a constellation of “C” hops (Cascade, Centennial, Chinook and Columbus) to create a formidable India Pale Ale. Bright and citrusy hop flavors shine in a medium body with caramel malt character.

Spica Pilsner
Spica Pilsner is brewed in the unfiltered Kellerbier style. Exclusive use of pale malt gives this lager a pleasing malt body and light golden color. Sterling hops bring a rich herbal hop character and work with unfiltered yeast to end on a nice spicy flavor.
