Dogfish, Grateful Dead brewing grassroots collaboration
From: DogFish Head 2012 – We’ve been working with Grateful Dead on a new off-centered ale, and now we’re looking for a little help to finish it off.
Like Dogfish Head, Grateful Dead built a following by connecting directly with its fans. Working in that happy place between creative ideas and like-minded people, we’ve been trading ideas for a beer we’re calling “American Beauty.”
It’s going to be a strong pale with all-American hops and barley, and we’re asking Dogfish Heads and Dead Heads to suggest the final ingredient – and the Dead-inspired story behind it.
