Goodlife RandallBEND, OR What do you do when you have a few extra pounds of wet hops that you don’t want to waste?  You think of your good friends at the Pine Box in Seattle, Ian and Dean, and the fellas at Dogfish Head and build a Randall!  What’s a Randall is a question some of you are asking yourself. When you Google “Randall Beers,” here is the description you’ll find: “Randall is an organoleptic hop transducer module, a double-chamber filter that you connect to a tap of your favorite beer and fill with flavor-enhancing ingredients.” In layman’s terms, that means you can fill this (pictured below) with anything you can think of and mix it with any beer you can think of.

We are going to use the Randall as a promotional and educational tool by bringing it to tap takeovers, beer festivals, beer weeks, etc.  The portable Randall will be filled with local grown hops, fruits, peppers, coffee beans, or herbs and filled with whatever beer we/you want to use!  In addition to the portable Randall, GoodLife Brewing will be installing a permanent Randall in our Bier Hall starting the 2nd week of September.  We plan on rotating and infusing our flagship, seasonal, and specialty beers with anything we can find to put through the Randall.
