Half Moon Bay, Calif. – January 25, 2015 – The Half Moon Bay Brewing Company is looking forward to a busy and exciting 2015 for its award-winning brewing team. The year kicks off with San Francisco Beer Week from February 6-16, for which Brewmaster James Costa and Head Brewer Shane Aldrich are creating unique small-batch brews, strong beers and European-style lagers and ales to be enjoyed at a variety of Beer Week events as well as paired with Chef Gaston Alfaro’s cuisine at this Coastside dining destination. The Brewing Company is also offering an array of special menus, brews and live music in celebration of Strong Beer Month and Valentine’s Day, including Chef Alfaro’s Beer and Dessert Pairing Menu available from February 6 -16, and a one-night-only Valentine’s Day Menu on Saturday, February 14.

As a sponsor and opening night participant of San Francisco Beer Week, the Half Moon Bay Brewing Company brings the sudsy celebrations to the Coastside with a tempting Beer and Dessert Pairing Menu, available February 6 -16. Each pairing is served on a signature surf board for $20 and includes:

  • Mascarpone Ginger Tart, paired with Brown Ale
  • Mini Bleu Cheese Cheesecake with candied bacon and a maple bourbon reduction paired with Double Bore IPA
  • Spiced Poached Pears, paired with PaPa Juice Barleywine
  • Beeramisu, paired with Calf-eine

Chef Alfaro has also created a special Valentine’s Day Menu, sure to light the fires of romance, offered in addition to the regular dinner menu on Saturday, February 14.
