CASCADIAN BEER FEST FEATURES 12 REGIONAL BREWERIES TO SUPPORT REGIONAL INGREDIENTS AND ENVIRONMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS
Vancouver, WA – On November 10, Hopworks Urban Brewery the first B Corporation brewery in the Pacific Northwest and member of 1% For The Planet, presents the Cascadian Beer Fest at their Vancouver brewpub. The event brings together twelve breweries from across the Cascadian Region to brew special beers inspired by Cascadia and brewed with ingredients from Cascadia. Inspired by the mission of 1% For The Planet, each brewery will also donate a portion of their beer’s proceeds to an environmental organization from their region.
“Cascadia” refers to the bioregion that encompasses the drainages of the greater Columbia and Fraser Rivers. This territory, extending over half a million square miles includes most of Washington, Oregon, British Columbia, and parts of Northern California and Idaho.
This inaugural festival is on November 10th from 4-9pm on the Hopworks Vancouver patio. A festival package costs $20 and includes a HUB Chalice and 5 drink tickets. Pours are 8oz and most beers will be 1 ticket per pour, and additional tickets can be purchased for $3 each. The event is limited to 150 tickets and is expected to sell out in advance. The full beer list is below.
The full Vancouver food menu will be available to ticket holders. Stay warm on the mostly covered patio with a fire pit and heaters. While the event itself is only open to adults, the brewpub will be open for regular family-friendly dining.
