I’m back blogging and my first stop on my search of the ultimate barley pop was Well 80 Artisan Brewing. Located in the heart of downtown Olympia WA there is a brand new brewery and to boot they are on there own Olympia water well. Perfectly themed and with terrific brews and great food Well 80 is going to be a mainstay in the Olympia for a long time. Chris Knudsen (Owner) from the Casa Mia family and his team have put together a menu of food that I was impressed with. Paul Parson (Head Brewer) formerly of Fish Brewing brings his brewing expertise to Well 80. He is going to be bringing tons of new flavors to Olympia. Thus far with time constraints and such they have collaborated with other great local brewers in the region to make some new beers while Well 80 fermentors are working on original Well 80 products. Beers from Top Rung Brewing (Lacey), Triceratops (Tumwater), Matchless (Tumwater), Three Magnets (Olympia) and Everybody’s Brewing (White Salmon)
Monday March 19th Well 80 Artisan Brewing opens their doors and to this another brewery in the South Sound. Cheers to Well 80 and best of luck.
