On a quick trip up to Seattle a friend and I stopped by this Seattle landmark for Beer Geeks. I had heard for quite some time I need to stop in and check this place out. The sign is hidden behind a tree and once you have found it and found a place to park your almost there. You walk in and you find a Belgian beer bar that was an old bar that just was filled with character. There where two huge chalk boards one with the tap list. The other was filled with every can or bottle they where selling. There where about 20 different tap and about 75-100 awesome Belgian/Strong ales on the list. Beers that I have never heard of nor seen and I have seen quite a few. I had some of the best Belgian beers I have ever had. The place was filled and it was a Tuesday night. Now they do not have food so if you need anything you need to bring it in yourself. This was a great stop and I must say I am glad I finally made it to this Seattle Beer Geek landmark. You have to say you have been to the Stumbling Monk.
