This week I am running with one of many brewers from Deschutes Brewing. If you ever ask me what my all time favorite beers is I will always tell you Black Butte Porter from Deschutes. So I am proud to have Eric and Deschutes answer some very compelling questions. So now without further wait here we go with the answers to the questions we always want to ask.
71. What was your first beer you ever drank?
Milwaukee s Best Ice
82. What was your first Craft Beer you ever had and what did you think?
Ommegang Abbey. I was blown away that beer could taste that amazing.
3. How did you get start in brewing? Homebrewer? Etc??? What was the first batch you ever made?
There was a of mine friend in college homebrewed so I got interested in it through him. Started homebrewing myself shortly before I changed majors to Fermentation Science. My first batch was an Oatmeal Stout.
4-1. What is your favorite beer you have ever made? And why?
My favorite beer I ve made would have to be a Honey Brown I made a few years back. I d say that it is my favorite because it turned out exactly like I was hoping for. A nice easy drinking light abv beer with good flavor that didn t stick around longer than it needed to.
5c. If you had to live for the rest of your life with only drinking one beer and not one of your own. Who and what beer/brewery?
This is a tough question, I d almost cheat and say there isn t any beer anywhere that I would want to be stuck drinking for eternity. There are plenty of amazing beers that I love to drink but it really depends on my mood or my situation.
6d-1. What is your favorite beer style?
Anything Belgian really are always good choices. Mostly Abbey beers
67. If you could create a whole new style of beer what would it be?
A Black Gratzer Bier
998. Favorite sport and team?
College Football, Oregon State Beavers
9. What is your ultimate session beer?
Bud Light Lime pick on that choice if you will but crack one of those open when you are at the beach or on the golf course and you won’t be a hater anymore.
A) What music do love to listen to while brewing?
Depends on how I m feeling really. It could be anywhere from Engelbert Humperdink to Slayer.
420. What is the craziest ingredient you have added while brewing?
Nothing too crazy maybe either Cubeb Berries or Tasmanian Leatherwood Honey.
24. Favorite hop(s)
I d have to say Strisselspalt or Mosaic at the moment. Those mosaic hops are pretty popular at the moment for good reason they re completely ridiculous.
13 What is your go to liquor?
Scotch mostly the Smokey stuff like Laphroaig
77. Favorite Movie(s)
Can I pick a trilogy? Probably Lord of the Rings if I can if not then In Bruges, that movie always makes me want to go back to Belgium.

I m For Genaro s, but then, what do I know? I m a bear. I suck the heads off Fish Genaro s Bear
