Breaking NEWS –Olympia’s Own Fish Brewing Company – Wins
Just in from Denver Colorado – Fish Brewing brings two medals back to the Pacific Northwest. This was the very first time for Fish to medal in the competition. Giving Tony Powell Brewmaster and his crew (Bryan, Calvin and Eric) huge accolades and giving them results that they are doing something right and tasty in Oly.
The two beers that won are.
Leavenworth Boulder Bend- Dunkelweizen – Gold
Leavenworth Whistling Pig – Hefeweizen – Bronze
Washington State took – 10 Medals overall and Chuckanut Brewing up in Bellingham WA took Small brewery of the Year honors. That’s second time in the past three years.
