Dare – Risk – Dream – Rogue Sponsors BrewDad

I have never made any bones about it I love Rogue Brewing and their beers.  So when I got the opportunity to have Rogue sponsor BrewDad I was excited.  Rogue has meant so much to me over the years.  WineMom and I spent many trips out on the coast and every time we would stop at the Newport brewery.  Then SodaKid came along even she got into being a Rogue kid. She has been on several tours and even met the famous John Maier a few times.  Our fist time meeting John out in Newport comes with a pretty fun story.  I and SodaKid saw him chatting with some fellow brewers and we stood waiting patiently to talk to him and I remember SodaKid saying, “Daddy why are we waiting for this man?”  I turned to her and I said, “Remember when we waited an hour to meet Mickey Mouse well honey this the famous person BrewDaddy’s wait for.”  On one trip we even saw and met Don Younger at the Rogue Public House.  Don was awesome and said hi to SodaKid. Does she not know how lucky she is?

If ever have the chance to visit Rogue out on the coast.  There are several things to look for.  First go on a brewery tour just see what 24 years in business builds.  Imagine the original building only being quarter of the current size.  Find the picture of Mo upstairs in the bar.  Raise a pint in her honor as she made this all happen with her ability to see a good thing when it comes around.   Always if you have the chance stay to enjoy sunset from theYaquinaBayview and be sure to be tipping a fine Rogue Ale at the time.

What’s your favorite Rogue beer I get all the time?  That is one hard question when there are so many great Rogue beers.  I do have to say Dead Guy ale is always a great beer to be tipping.
