Foggy Noggin Brewing – Saturday – February 6th (noon-5pm) we are releasing a very rare beer – Chimney Crusher (English Triple IPA) – 10.9% ABV – 105 IBU. Chimney Crusher was influenced from the wind storm in November 2015 that brought down a 100 foot tree onto our house, and crushed our Chimney. Parts of this giant Douglas Fir will be added in the bright tanks while we dry hop this big beer. English floor malted Maris Otter, Golden Promise and 2-row are the malts. We added some English Invert Sugar as well. Hops are loaded with Magnum, Columbus, Northern Brewer and Centennial. The result is a remarkably smooth and wonderful giant IPA. This beer is part of the Washington Hop Mob Roadshow.
