Graveyard of the Pacific Imperial Red ABV 10% / IBU 100

It’s Graveyard of the Pacific season! The wait is nearly over… The yearly collaboration between North Jetty Brewing and Heathen Brewing is releasing on Wednesday December 19th at North Jetty Brewing and Thursday December 20th at both Heathen locations.

Together we crafted an Imperial Red Ale that captures the relentless spirit of this region. Graveyard of the Pacific is a full bodied Imperial Red bursting with aroma and flavor from a hardy dose of Amarillo,Galaxy, Columbus, and Simcoe hops. With Citrus in the forefront followed by a hint of passion fruit and floral and just a touch of earthiness this beer will not disappoint. It’s well balanced with a nice mouth feel and color coming from the Crystal, Honey, and Chocolate malts.

Even at 10% ABV and 100 IBU, Graveyard of the Pacific is a big beer that is smooth and very drinkable. The final product releases in 22oz bottles with the killer artwork done by artist Kyle Shold. Kyle captured the feel of the stretch of water from Tillamook Bay, past the treacherous Columbia River Bar to the tip of Vancouver Island that has claimed over 2,000 vessels& more than 700 lives. This unforgiving combination of current, fog, storms, waves, and rocks has long been known by one name: The Graveyard of the Pacific.

Graveyard of the Pacific will be available for a limited time at select bottle shops and tap houses around Portland, Southwest Washington and coastal locations, at North Jetty Brewing in Seaview, Feral Public House, and Heathen Brewing in Vancouver. Check Facebook and Untapped for locations and if you don’t see it at your favorite bottle shop be sure to ask for it! Grab a pint or bottle before they are gone and have a drink in honor of the men and women who make their living on the waves of the Graveyard of the Pacific!
