Canned for sure...takes up less space too so you can pack more into your cooler. Really the only craft brew available in a can down here in FL is stuff from Oskar Blues of Colorado. I see Brooklyn has one but haven't seen it on store shelves. I wish more would move to cans, we always pour them into glasses/cups anyways, right?

I am the brewer at Old Schoolhouse Brewery, the porter on tap in May 2009 was the Old recipe Black Canyon Porter from Winthrop Brewing Company Archives, I hav since brewed a ne Porter, named Rendezvous Porter which has a more chocolatey and complex malt profile and a much smoother and subtle hop profile, give it a try next time your'e in.

I found this shop when we went there back in May. I agree, it's got a nice beer selection. The cheese and meats there are fantastic. We had some of their smoked cheese coupled with some Landjägers (like pepperoni but thicker) in the park while watching the Maifest parade. I'd also recommend hitting the brats/beer from the outside vendor down (head West from the Cheese Monger) at the corner along Main street. As a bonus, they had 8-10 gourmet mustards to go with all the sauerkraut you wanted, oh and they have a biergarten!

I stopped there this last may. Their IPA was delicious. I had the "Black Canyon" porter which was a bit of a disappointment.

VW
